Peter Oyugi graduated from Moi University where he pursued Engineering. After graduation he joined FOCUS Kenya where he served in various capacities for 11 years. He was the main expositor in FOCUS Ezra conference 2013, and FOCUS Commission 2017. He is passionate about mission work and especially in African churches.

He is married to Dr. Cecilia, and are blessed with two adult girls: Purity and Catherine.
